In any given election, if you continue supporting "the party" even after they choose a sell-out candidate, out of fear of what might happen if "the opposition party" candidate wins, then you are part of the problem. You are the enabler of your own abuse, and the mirror opposite of those whom you can't understand. Don't listen to the hopeless fatalism of those who want you to give them your power! Take back your power and Vote Consciously!
"The media" says that you'll waste your vote by supporting a candidate that they choose not to present. I guess that means you have three choices:
- flush your vote down the toilet, and go with the masses.
- exercise your right not to play, and don't vote.
- waste your vote, and choose someone you agree with.
It's as dismal as trying to choose between a candidate who supports the war and a candidate who's too afraid to oppose it, but hey, that's what we've got. So, if you're going to vote, why not take a look at some of the other options?
